Dear Community Partner,
On May 17th, 2025, the Trauma Intervention Programs (TIP) Foothill Mountain will host our “Annual Dinner, a Night at the Museum.” This event is a fundraiser for TIP. The expected attendance is: 150-200.
TIP volunteers have assisted the citizens of the Foothill! Mountain communities for over 30 years, volunteering over 27,000 hours per year. Providing emotional and practical support to individuals on what is likely the worst day of their lives dealing with situations such as the unexpected death of a family member, a fire or horrendous car accident involving loved ones. Trained citizen TIP volunteers respond to the scenes within 20 minutes of being dispatched and will be with survivors (some of them children, who just lost a parent) to offer immediate support. TIP volunteers work hand-in-hand with Firefighters, Paramedics, Peace Officers, Deputy Coroners, American Red Cross and Chaplains.
TIP Foothill Mountain Chapter works closely with the Creek Fire Recovery Collaborative assisting families that lost their homes in the Creek Fire 2020. Recently TIP has hosted 6 events with children, families and 2 events assisting seniors with Make a Plan / Emergency Preparedness. We are Citizens Helping Citizens in Crisis.
